We are fortunate to have another opportunity to visit Brussels under the auspices of one of our London MEPs, Marina Yannakadakis, and to receive a guided tour of the European Parliament with talks to explain the functioning of the various different bodies that comprise the European government. Participants will have the opportunity to ask any questions they may have about the Parliament and how it impacts on the UK.
We will leave London on an early Eurostar train on Sunday morning and return on Monday evening. We will thus have about one and a half days in Brussels. Monday morning will be taken up with our trip to the Parliament but the rest of the time will be free for sight-seeing.
Due to the fact that the trip is subsidised and involves a guided tour at the Parliament building the number of spaces available is strictly limited. Attendees must be registered voters and preference will be given to attendees resident in the Constituency.
The cost of the trip to participants will be only £30 per person sharing a double or twin room or £50 per person if a single room is required.
The payment covers the cost of Eurostar train from London to Brussels and return, bed and breakfast for one night in a centrally located 3* hotel in Brussels, the cost of dinner on Sunday evening and coach travel from the hotel to the Parliament building. Other local travel, sightseeing and lunches are not included.
