The Hornchurch War Memorial has been awarded Grade II Listing status. Julia Lopez MP has welcomed the decision which saw 3 memorials across London get the award. 

The memorial reflects the sacrifice of the fallen in both World Wars, Those who died at RAF Hornchurch, which was imperative during the Battle of Britain, will now ensure the preservation of the fallen.
