This week, Havering's budget plan was published including major improvements in street cleaning. The proposals include an extra £400,000 for street cleaning which will see the frequency in residential streets increased from once every three weeks to fortnightly.
This is part of just a number of measures in the Council’s budget for the coming financial year, which will deliver improved local services across the Borough. Residents have told us that they expect the Council to deliver high-quality local services and ensure our neighbourhoods are clean and well maintained.
The budget is ambitious and will bring significant improvements to all parts of the borough with investment in neighbourhoods, job creation and more genuinely affordable housing.
