We are really pleased to announce that the Heritage Lottery Fund and the Big Lottery Fund have awarded Havering £1,885,900 towards the cost of restoring the gardens of the beautiful Grade II listed Langtons House in the heart of our constituency to their former glory. The Veolia Havering Riverside Trust and the Friends of the Langtons Estate have also contributed to this project: £105,000 and £15,000 respectively.

The gardens are heavily used by local people on an everyday basis as well as for weddings and other big functions so the improvements that will result from these generous financial contributions will be greatly appreciated by many residents.
