Yesterday, Havering's waste collection contractor Serco experienced four-vehicle breakdowns, an unprecedented situation which caused significant interruption to the service.

Around 30 residential roads, 40 flats and 11 garden waste roads were unable to be collected across Havering. Serco has now sourced additional vehicles today and work should be caught up.
