Over 2 weeks ago, Upminster Ward Conservative Volunteer wrote to the Residents Association Political Party in Upminster about parking. Councillor Linda Hawthorn, Councillor Oscar Ford and Councillor Chris Wilkins failed to respond or even acknowledge him.
He has asked 6 simple questions:
1) When is there free parking?
2) What are the new parking charges for Upminster?
3) Why did the Residents Association Political Party vote against the fully costed Conservative proposal to freeze parking charges?
4) Is there free parking if the pay machines are out of order?
5) How can you pay for parking if you do not have the app?
6) Will there be better signage to clearly show parking rules?
Since he asked, the Havering Daily has run a series of news stories on the parking scandal. You can read them below.

Adam Baker is now writing to the cabinet member for parking about this issue and hopes that the Residents Association can respond to residents like himself.
