The Government today released figures which showed that Havering continued to come out on top of other London boroughs offering just under 90% of pupils their first choice of primary school place. The London average was 86%.
The Council comes within the top ten of the rankings in London, with 97% of children due to start primary school this September being offered a place at one of their top three preferred schools.
This great news comes just weeks after Havering Council announced an £18 million investment in schools across the Borough (view here), and just a month after the news that nearly 80 per cent of school children across Havering received their first choice of secondary school, the highest number in London (view here).
