Conservative Councillors promised £40 million to road repairs over the next three years. So far, we have seen a number of roads in our Constituency benefit from this fund, including North Street, Hornchurch, Great Nelmes Chase, Emerson Park and Station Road, Upminster amongst many others. 

Next is the turn for Harwood Avenue, Hornchurch (17th May - 24th May), Oak Glen, Hornchurch (28th-29th May) and Elmhurst Drive, Hornchurch (28th May - 6th June). Full details can be found below.

Harwood Avenue in Hornchurch will be resurfaced between Friday 17 and Friday 24 May. Work will take place on weekdays only between 8am and 5pm. During this time, Harwood Avenue will be closed to through traffic and a diversion route will be in place to guide vehicles around the works.

The carriageway in Oak Glen, Hornchurch will be resurfaced on Tuesday 28 May and Wednesday 29 May. Work will take place between 8am and 5pm. During this time, Oak Glen will be closed to traffic.

The carriageway in Elmhurst Drive, Hornchurch will be resurfaced between Tuesday 28 May and Thursday 6 June. Work will take place on weekdays only between 9.30am and 3pm. During this time, Elmhurst Drive will be closed to through traffic and a diversion route will be in place to guide vehicles around the works.
