The Ultra-Low Emission Zone is expanding to Havering. It will many charge drivers £12.50 a day just to leave their driveway unless they buy a new car.
We agree that the environment should be a priority but taxing the poorest, hardest working is not the solution. It would better to spend this money on electrifying public sector vehicles and installing smart traffic lights to reduce congestion and pollution.

That is why we must all campaign to stop ULEZ from destroying our businesses. Those who cannot afford to buy a new ULEZ compliant vehicle will be hit hard by Sadiq Khan's plan.
What can you do?
1. Tell TFL what you think
You can email them cleanairyourview@tfl.gov.uk or write to them for free to FREEPOST TFL HAVE YOUR SAY .
You can you say that ULEZ will:
- Penalise the poor, who are less likely to have a new car
- Drive customers away from our local business and high streets
- Cost £200 million to implement
- Make it harder to get NHS workers, Tradesman and Care Workers to work in Havering, as they have to work antisocial hours, visit multiple locations each day, or carry tools
