From 31 May 2015 the train line between Romford and Upminster will become part of the TfL London Overground system. The immediate changes users will notice is that a newer, more comfortable, train will be placed on the route and a member of staff will ride on each journey to offer any assistance passengers need. The trains will also run for an extra two hours every day. The last train leaving Romford will now be 21.41 and the last leaving Upminster will be 21.54. TfL also aims to keep the train cleaner.
