On Friday, 17th May 2019, London Assembly Member for Havering & Redbridge Keith Price organised a Public Meeting to discuss policing for the local area. In attendance were Keith Prince AM, Hornchurch & Upminster MP Julia Lopez, Leader of Havering Council Cllr Damian White and Chairman of the Council's Crime & Disorder Overview and Scrutiny Committee Cllr Bob Perry.

Each member of the panel took time to discuss the work that they were doing on their level, to combat the rise in crime within the local area and ensure Havering continues to be a safe area to live in.

Matters discussed were Police Funding, extra Police Officers paid for by Havering Council, Hornchurch Police Station as well as a Public Health approach to tackling knife crime.
